4 Transfer to another computer

"Previous" computer

  • Turn off Tachospeed.

  • Copy (e.g. to a flash drive) the database file (by default the database is located in C:/Program Files (x86)/Infolab/Tachospeed/Baza/TACHOSPEED.GDB). In the MAX version, there may be more than one database, in which case, please transfer all files with the GDB extension that are on the HDD, except for PUSTA.GDB.


"New" computer

  • Turn off the antivirus.

  • Download the installation file.

  • Install the installer "as administrator" (right click on the downloaded file, run as administrator).

  • When a window appears after installation to run the program, please uncheck it and do not run the program.

  • Upload the database file from a flash drive to the C:/Program Files (x86)/Infolab/Tachospeed/Baza/

  • Run the program "as administrator" by clicking the icon on the desktop (only the first run of the program is done "as administrator").

  • Enter the license number, activate the program (phone number +48 32 70 70 440).

  • MAX version - in the menu "Administration -  Open database (.gdb)... - Search" we indicate each base.

  • After correct installation, Tachospeed can be removed from the previous computer
