Digital data import
In Tachospeed it is possible to import digital data from driver card or tachograph files. You can use the "Digital data" menu or click on "Import digital file" directly from the calendar view.

Importing data from a file (driver card or tachograph)
After clicking on "Import digital file", then on the "Select file" button, we indicate the files we want to import. Multiple files from both driver cards and tachograph can be selected at one time.

If we are adding a brand new file then in the "Drivers" and "Vehicles" tabs we can confirm which driver and vehicles will be added to the database. If we are importing a file from a tachograph, then in the "Companies" tab we can preview the company data recorded on the file. In addition, in the "From" column we can select which files we want to import.
In the "Drivers" tab, we can choose which drivers will be added to the database and which will be skipped. By clicking the right mouse button, we can select the "Skip all" option.
Podobnie w zakładce "Pojazdy" zaznaczamy, które pojazdy dodajemy i pomijamy. Klikając prawym przyciskiem myszy można wybrać opcję "Pomin wszystkie".
Następnie wracamy do zakładki "Pliki" i klikamy w przycisk "Importuj pliki".
Po imporcie plików wyświetli się okno podsumowania.
1.2 Import danych z karty kierowcy (czytnik USB)
Jeśli dysponujemy czytnikiem USB to możemy odczytać kartę kierowcy podłączając czytnik bezpośrednio do komputera. Jeśli czytnik został prawidłowo zainstalowany to pojawi się on w liście dostępnych czytników. Wkładamy kartę kierowcy do czytnika i wciskamy przycisk "Odczyt karty".
1.3 Import danych bezpośrednio z tachografu
Program umożliwia także pobieranie danych bezpośrednio z tachografu. Gdy komputer będzie podłączony do tachografu w samochodzie to wybieramy opcję "Odczyt tachografu". Aby mozliwe było podłączenie komputera do tachografu wymagany jest kabel TACHO USB.
Po znaznaczeniu interesujących nas opcji odczytu (zakładka "Akcje") można rozpocząć pobieranie danych korzystając z przycisku "Start".
1.4 Serwer FTP
If the digital files are stored on an FTP server then through the "FTP server" option we have the possibility to download them and import them into the program. After entering the server address, username and password, we can connect to the server and download the data.
1.5 System TTPilot
The functionality will be added in later versions of Tachospeed.
2. Podgląd pliku cyfrowego
Opcja ta umożliwia otwarcie pliku cyfrowego bez jego importu do programu (podgląd). Po wybraniu opcji wskazujemy plik cyfrowy jaki chcemy podejrzeć. W "Podglądzie pliku cyfrowego" możliwe jest także wygenerowanie Raportu szczegółowego aktywności kierowcy.

6. Konwersja plików cyfrowych ESM do DDD
Tachospeed allows you to convert .esm files to regulatory-required, digitally signed .ddd files. To do so, select the option Convert digital ESM files to DDD.

By selecting this option, digital files older than 1, 2 or 3 years can be removed from the database.
Similarly, in the "Vehicles" tab, we select which vehicles we are adding and skip. By right-clicking, you can select the "Skip all" option.
Then return to the "Files" tab and click on the "Import Files" button.
After importing the files, a summary window will be displayed.
